The Remarket Space Car Program
Remarket Space gives Minnesotans in need a budget to choose a car that fits their life, so they can get to and from work and take care of the people who count on them. You pick the car. We cover it, plus insurance, registration and repairs for the first year.
Why we're doing this
We've helped Minnesotans buy more than 14,000 vehicles. We've seen what a reliable car makes possible: a new job you can actually get to, a shorter day for your kids, a doctor's appointment you don't have to miss. We've also seen how hard it is when a car is out of reach.
That's why we built this program. It isn't a prize or a promotion. It's for Minnesotans who truly need a car to get to work and take care of the people who depend on them.
And we don't just hand over keys to whatever's on the lot. You get a budget to choose a car you'll actually enjoy, one that's practical for your commute and your life.

Questions
Yes. It's free to apply and no purchase is needed. If you're chosen, the car, title, registration, first-year insurance and first-year repairs are covered by Remarket Space.
Our review team reads every application. We look at need first: whether a car would help you get to work and care for the people who depend on you. We may call to learn more, then confirm a few details like your license and income.
We choose families as the program grows. Applications are always open, so you can apply anytime.
Your application stays on file and is considered each time we choose a recipient. You don't need to reapply, but you're welcome to update your application if your situation changes.
The car is yours. After the first 12 months, insurance, registration and upkeep become your responsibility, like any car you own. Our team is glad to help you plan for those costs.
A car given to you may count as income for tax purposes. We'll explain what to expect before you accept, and we recommend talking to a tax professional.
No. Sharing your story is completely optional and won't affect whether you're chosen. If you say yes, we'll always ask before using your name, photo or video.
Yes. Choose “Someone I'm nominating” at the top of the form. We'll contact them before anything moves forward.
Yes, that's the point. You get a budget of up to $4,000 to pick a car from our inventory, and our team helps you weigh reliability, mileage and what fits your commute and daily life.
