About these prices

What does a Volkswagen Passat sell for at auction in Minnesota?

Across 20 sold at Remarket Space the average final price is $972 and the median is $550 — auction prices, not retail. Comparable vehicles ask roughly $1,400 on a dealer lot. Most close here between $100 and $4,600, depending on model year, mileage and whether the vehicle runs.

Why is a Volkswagen Passat cheaper at this auction than at a dealership?

Dealers buy their inventory at auction and mark it up to sell to you. Remarket Space lets you skip that middleman and buy at the same prices dealers pay — typically 30%+ below retail. There is no sticker to negotiate: the vehicle sells for whatever buyers bid that day, or instantly at its Buy Now price.

Can I buy without a dealer license?

Yes. Remarket Space is an online public marketplace in Elk River, Minnesota, open to individual buyers, businesses and licensed dealers alike. Bid in a live auction or use Buy Now to purchase instantly — the entire transaction completes 100% online in about 5 minutes.

What happens if the car has a major mechanical problem?

Cars, SUVs, vans and pickups that started at the auction come with the 3-Day Major Mechanical Guarantee: undisclosed lower-end engine damage, automatic transmission failure, frame or structural damage, or flood damage, reported by email within 72 hours of delivery. Title issues are guaranteed for life. Every listing also shows a full inspection — what is wrong with the car, not just what is right.
